Scholarship Funds

The creation of a scholarship fund can be structured to benefit students at any education level or for a specific institution.

Whether you create a new scholarship program or contribute to one of the Longmont Community Foundation’s existing ones, your gift directly benefits students in our community- from preschool to post graduate. These scholarships make it possible for students to achieve their lifetime goals and dreams.

Some donors choose to stay involved through advisory relationships, while others name a representative for the advisory committee to assist in the selection of recipients. Either way, please contact us at 303-678-6555 to learn more about establishing a scholarship fund at the Longmont Community Foundation.

Sam successfully completed his Welding Technology associate degree in May 2023 from Front Range Community College.  His family stated that receiving the 2022 Ascend St. Vrain Braly Scholarship was a significant factor in his ability to do this; he is so grateful!  Sam obtained a job at Full Metal Iron as a field welder three days after graduation.  He is loving his career and is learning so much every day.  Some of the jobs Sam has worked on include the new Boulder Fire Station Number 3, the Denver Federal Center: Building 48, and the Google Data Center in Thornton.  He is currently working on another project in Frisco, Colorado.
