Strongmont 2 is a focused on providing help to businesses of color (businesses owned by people of color who belong to the following minorities Asian, African American, Hispanic/Latino, Middle Eastern, Native American, or Pacific Islander), experiencing hardship directly related to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Funds will be used to help businesses cover near-term expenses in the areas of payroll, rent, mortgage, utilities or other essential operating costs.
Grant awards will be determined at the discretion of the Strongmont 2 Committee, based on the eligibility criteria and the responses provided in this application. Eligibility
- Business must operate in Longmont
- Business identifies as people of color-owned
- Business was in operation as of March 10, 2020 (Colorado emergency declaration)
- Business is “current” on all accounts with the city (This does not exclude a business from consideration for an award but to receive a grant a business must be compliant)
- Business employed 25 or fewer employees as of March 10, 2020
