TinkerMill is the largest makerspace in Colorado and the surrounding Rocky Mountain region. It’s a place where like-minded people interested in art, technology, science and business can collaborate on creative projects, share tools, learn, teach, make things, prototype new ideas, products and services, start ventures, meet new people and share knowledge. TinkerMill lives its vision of community inclusion not only by creating classes and opportunities for using its shops and equipment for projects, but also by hosting events such as the speaker series. The speaker series is open to the public and brings in experts for in-depth discussion on science and art-related topics. Also open to the broader community are annual events such as TinkerFair, and seasonal events like Astronomy on the Sidewalk (downtown Longmont). TinkerMill now has almost 800 members and 13 different shops where classes are held. Named the 2024 Longmont Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit of the Year, over 30 different businesses have been launched from TinkerMill.
Based on requests from our members, this piece of equipment would specifically help entrepreneurs and new business owners who are building out their marketing strategies and advertising their products.
