For 44 years, CTRC has been changing the lives of people with disabilities by promoting their physical, psychological, and social well-being through equine-assisted activities. We are one of the top therapeutic riding centers in the nation, maintaining our Premier Certification from PATH International since 1982. Our facility boasts 26 equine therapists, a staff of 11, and hundreds of volunteers who keep our programs running. We currently provide services to our riders each year through our five core programs: Therapeutic Riding, Equine Assisted Therapy, Equine Assisted Mental Health, Instructor in Training, and Retired Horse Sanctuary, with a waitlist of 200 more, for our programs.
