Family Village serves both parents and their children by providing space for them to thrive together. Not only do we address the social connectivity and mental health needs of today’s parents, but also set-up future citizens to feel and know the value of community. We fill an enormous gap in society, offering mothers a place to show up fully to support one another and receive the support they need, including the most critical need of childcare. Mothers are biologically wired to do life in community and Family Village offers them a space to do that. Users of Village spaces are provided free and low-cost therapy and peer-to-peer support groups, yoga and other wellness offerings.
The first FV location launched in Longmont in 2018 but had to relocate to Boulder in 2021 due to the pandemic. There we serve Longmont families and other St Vrain communities.
