LEAF offers resources to grow health and wellbeing in the Greater Lyons area, by providing all of the local and accessible human and behavioral health services. Our programs include Lyons Community Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, Basic Needs & Resource Matching, Lyons Volunteers, and Mental Wellness & Addiction Recovery. We’re serving 30% of the local population, most of them many times each year. The needs keep growing in our underserved community, even as resources to meet needs continue to shrink.
After years of dreaming and planning, LEAF purchased its own property in 2023! Renovations are nearing completion, and we will move to our new home at 304 2nd Avenue in Lyons in January, 2025. These are exciting times at LEAF, for all of the people we serve, and for the entire Lyons community. Our new location will serve as the hub where our community can seek services while growing community and connection together.
When we move to our new home in January, this gift will make it possible for LEAF to stock our new Pantry with sufficient quantities of nutritious food.
