Mission

Everyone Deserves a Place to Call Home

Imagine a world where everyone has a safe, decent place to live.

Your kind donation can help make this vision a reality. By supporting Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley, you are building more than homes—you are building strength, stability, and self-reliance for families in need. By helping families build homes, we empower them to achieve strength, stability, and independence. Habitat works to eliminate barriers to a better, healthier, and more financially stable life through affordable homeownership. Every home is a building block for a stronger future, and every helping hand makes a difference.

Together, we can create affordable housing that strengthens our community and gives families the foundation for a brighter future. Consider making a one-time contribution to support this vital work.

More about this organization

Founded in 1988, St. Vrain Habitat offers “a hand up, not a handout.” Families are selected based on need, participation, and the ability to repay an affordable mortgage. They must complete up to 500 hours of “sweat equity,” attend homeownership education, and repay their home cost through affordable mortgage payments, which help fund future homes in the community.

People in our community and all over the world partner with Habitat to build a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own home alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

Other ways to help

Habitat homes are built with the help of people in our community who see the need for affordable homeownership.
