Thrive addresses employment barriers faced by communities with high poverty rates, particularly single-parent households and communities of color. Research shows one in four Colorado households lack sufficient income to meet basic needs. Long-term unemployment can destabilize families and perpetuate poverty, making employment support crucial for improving stability.
In 2024, 21% of Thrive participants were single parents, 26% had criminal histories, 52% were people of color, and 58% received public benefits.
Through job readiness training and coaching, provided at no cost to participants, Thrive delivers personalized support to help individuals overcome barriers, navigate the job market, and build stable futures.
Job readiness training is On Demand through a learning management system and our coaching cohorts meet virtually, allowing Coloradans across the state to access Thrive’s services and to set their own pace and schedules.
