Specific Eligibility

  • Must plan to attend a vocational/trade school, a 2-year college, or a 4-year college/university starting this fall.
  • Must wish to pursue a career in the agricultural field.
  • Must be a student attending either Roosevelt High School or Mead High School.

Amounts Awarded

  • One-Time Scholarship: $2,000 awarded.

Purpose

In Memory of Jared Nicholas Sekich: This scholarship is created in loving memory of Jared Nicholas Sekich, a student at Roosevelt High School who was an active member of the Roosevelt Future Farmers of America (FFA), served as an FFA sentinel, and was a member of the basketball team. 

Use of Funds

  • Scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room & board, and other direct educational expenses related to study in an agricultural field by either attending a trade or vocational school or a 2 year or 4 year college/university  for the upcoming academic year.
  • Award amounts will be split between semesters.

Application Details

  • High school transcript with fall grades, resume, short answer questions, essay and recommendation letters.
