Eligibility
Focus Area
- Pathway 1: Must be enrolled in either The Department of Geology, OR The Department of Geophysics OR
- Pathway 2: Must be enrolled in the School of Energy Resources, majoring in Energy Resource Management and Development, with a concentration in either Professional Land Management, OR Energy and Environmental Systems.
Specific Eligibility
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Financial Need: Must file a FAFSA and demonstrate unmet financial need.
Academic Requirements
- Must be a full-time sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at the University of Wyoming.
- Must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale).
Amounts Awarded
- Renewable Scholarship: $5,000, renewable for up to two additional years if the applicant meets the renewal criteria.
Purpose
In Memory of Page T. and Elizabeth Jenkins: This Scholarship Fund was created by Rose T. Macy in loving memory and to honor the legacy of her parents, Page T. and Elizabeth Jenkins. This scholarship is a tribute to Page Jenkins’ love of geology and his professional dedication as well as honoring Elizabeth Jenkins’ support for Page’s career.
Use of Funds
- Scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room & board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at University of Wyoming for the upcoming fall semester.
- Award amounts will be split between semesters.
