Eligibility
Focus Area
- Music
- Must plan to study or be currently studying voice, piano, organ, and/or music education.
Specific Eligibility
- Must be a high school senior graduating from the St. Vrain Valley School District, OR
- Must be a student currently enrolled in a Colorado university or college who graduated from a St. Vrain Valley High School.
- Must attend a four-year accredited Colorado university or Colorado college with a strong music program.
Amounts Awarded
- One-Time Scholarship: $1,000 awarded.
Purpose
In Memory of Stewart Golden: This scholarship was established to celebrate Stewart Golden’s love of music and to enable others to study voice, piano, or organ.
Use of Funds
- Scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room & board, and other direct educational expenses related to study of voice, piano, music education at a 4 year college/university in Colorado for the upcoming academic year.
- Award amounts will be split between semesters.
Application Details
- High school or college transcript with fall grades, resume, music activities, essay and recommendation letters.
