Specific Eligibility

  • Must be a lineman at any high school in the SVVSD
  • Must be a graduating senior from a St Vrain Valley High School

Academic Requirements

  • A max GPA of 3.8

Amounts Awarded

A $10,000 award.

$5,000 awarded for the first eligible year, and if the renewable criteria are met, the remaining $5,000 will be awarded.

Purpose

This scholarship was originally set up by Henry Braly, the founder of The Braly Family Foundation. His family has continued to honor him by offering this scholarship in his memory. Henry was a lineman at Longmont High School in the 1950s and continued to play football in college.

Use of Funds

  • Scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room & board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at an accredited trade school, two-year or four-year college or university for the upcoming fall semester (minimum 12 enrolled credit hours)
  • Award amounts will be split between semesters.

  • High school transcript with fall grades, resume, recommendation letter, and a short 2-3 minute video which answers questions given to the applicant
