Sustainable Resilient Longmont collaborates with the Longmont community to cultivate a sustainable and thriving city. As the local hub for environmental education, advocacy and action, we are focused on improving the sustainability and quality of life in our community through three main program areas: Renewable Energy, Zero Waste, and Earth Action, which includes our family-oriented annual Longmont Earth Day Celebration. Since our founding, we have maintained one clear message throughout the years: there is hope for the future of humanity and our amazing planet if we work together on solving global challenges at a local level.
Sustainable Resilient Longmont provides free environmental education to thousands of residents every year through our major annual events (Longmont Earth Day, Electrify Longmont Fair, Longmont Sustainability Awards), recycling education and waste station management at all City of Longmont public festivals, green home tours, waste facility tours, educational workshops, quarterly community cleanups, and policy advocacy with our three action teams.
With your support, we can continue to move our City towards a more sustainable future for all!
