Mission
Beginning in 2008 as a small grassroots effort operating out of a garage, A Precious Child (APC) has grown into a trusted nonprofit and vital access point for families’ critical needs in Colorado. Today, APC operates from a dedicated headquarters in Broomfield with additional access points at Satellite Resource Centers and through Community Distributions organized in the City of Longmont and across our 8-County footprint. Through these, APC provides over 60,000 children and families who are living in poverty or crisis with access to basic needs, enrichment opportunities, and workforce readiness.
APC’s cradle to career support is bolstered by partnerships with over 300+ agencies and strengthened by the help of 8,000 volunteers per year, allowing APC to bridge critical gaps in a child’s unmet needs.
