Mission
Longmont Humane Society is dedicated to the welfare of animals with a mission of caring, serving and educating to improve the lives of companion animals. LHS works to reduce barriers to veterinary care, prevent unnecessary surrender, reunite lost pets with their families, and ensure animals receive compassionate medical, behavioral, and adoption support. By expanding access to resources, education, and crisis assistance, LHS strengthens the human–animal bond and improves long-term outcomes for pets and families across Longmont and surrounding communities.

In 2025, LHS changed the lives of 2,943 homeless animals and served 5,291 pets through the Clinic. With a 97% save rate, LHS believes each animal in our care has the chance for a brighter future.Other ways to help
