AB, short for ABSD (they/them), moved to Longmont in 2023 from Florida by way of happenstance. They are passionate about the vibrant culture off care Longmont carries and helps cultivate this through their own advocacy work in the community.
AB believes in creating a culture of restorative change through small sustainable action steps. After receiving their Masters in Ecopsychology from Naropa University, AB embraces this lens in all they do. Through working for the Earth, they teach others how to adopt this mentality to paint a holistic picture that benefits the whole. AB runs a social movement called A Better Standard Direction that grows from love to love in all its programs, initiatives, and partnerships. They are also the Executive Web Weaver at Interwoven Earth, a company that weaves community together by interconnecting care for the Earth through igniting our individual gifts to create sustainable change together.
You can find AB hugging trees, dancing through life, laughing joyfully, riding their bike around town, teaching about self love and care practices, and encouraging others to show up as their full self by setting a fearless example living this out themself.
