Other Fund Options

Designated Funds

Donors who wish to support a specific agency or cause can establish a designated fund.  A designated fund provides help to a specific issue in our community and can change over time if the designated issue is solved.  Your legacy will remain preseved forever and your charitable intention will remain intact under the perpetuity of the Longmont Community Foundation.  Designated Funds at the Longmont Community Foundation include:

  • Dr. Jack and Margaret Beynon Memorial Scholarship Fund – provides a scholarship to a male student athlete at Frederick High School
  • N. Claire Caldwell Fund
  • Merl F. & Albert J. Yeager Fund
  • Highlandlake Pioneer Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund – provides support and care to this historic cemetery
  • Mountain View Cemetery Fund – provides support and care to our community cemetary

Field of Interest Funds

Field of interest funds are often established to support particular interest areas, specific program initiatives, causes or geographic areas. At the donor’s request, use of the funds is restricted to a specified area of interest, but flexibility remains to meet changing situations.  Field of Interest Funds include:

  • St. Vrain Conservation Fund
