We are grateful for the generosity of our Business Partners that help us with our work in the community.
Longmont area youth stepped into action in the summer of 2020 and beyond in big ways! Through the creation of the County Collectives, youth aged 16 to ~25 came together to respectfully lend their voices, time and resources to activities that could help the greater Boulder Valley. From helping to be a voice for various national issues to building grass-roots efforts to start to listen to one another, these up-and-coming leaders have been busy.
Most recently, the Arts team of the County Collectives has worked with the Longmont Community Foundation and the City of Longmont to develop Pop-Up Drive-In programming through CommCi at www.cocinemas.org. These film viewing sessions are done in a way to provide all of us entertainment opportunities, while showcasing local area restaurant dishes, creating big topic discussions, jobs and volunteer opportunities all with minimal contact.
