Craig Foster is a technologist turned community builder with more than three decades of experience spanning the technology and healthcare industries. Beginning his career in 1992, Craig spent the majority of his corporate tenure in Healthcare IT, most recently specializing in data analytics and developing tools that enable providers to deliver more informed, data-driven patient care.
Driven by a longstanding passion for teaching and mentorship, Craig transitioned from corporate work to entrepreneurship, founding Code Ninjas Louisville, a STEM education center in Louisville, Colorado. There, he works with students ages 5 to “25,” helping young people discover their interests through coding, robotics, and creative technology. What began as a desire to teach has grown into a broader mission to mentor, empower, and inspire the next generation.
In addition to his work at Code Ninjas, Craig collaborates with local schools and districts to expand access to STEM education—particularly for students who may not otherwise have these opportunities. Through these efforts, students engage in storytelling, game design, artificial intelligence, and robotics, while building confidence and critical problem-solving skills in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Craig is also an active community leader and currently serves in several roles, including:
