Emily Lucero was born and raised in Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where she studied business finance. She also competed for the University on the track and field team, with her best event being the hammer throw. Emily is married to her husband, Brice, whom she met at CU in their Philosophy 101 class. They moved to Longmont in 2015. They have a daughter, Charlotte (Charlie for short), a son, Bjorn, and a Beagle named Deza.
Currently, Emily is a lead advisor at Colorado Capital Management, where she aims to create meaningful financial and investment plans for clients while also focusing on socially responsible business practices. She loves learning about people and their backgrounds, which she believes is the foundation of fostering great long-term relationships.
Outside of her professional life, Emily is a dedicated home cook, a fitness enthusiast who enjoys HIIT workouts, and a lover of home improvement projects. She cherishes her time in the Colorado sunshine, often spending it with her family.
