Jake Van Kessel is the Resident Director of the Boulder Merrill office and CEO of The Van Kessel Group at Merrill. Jake and his team are dedicated to helping their clients with all aspects of their family’s financial affairs. Jake and his family have lived in Longmont for 15 years and are active with several local nonprofits in addition to his positions on the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee for The Longmont Community Foundation. Jake and his wife, Meggan enjoy building long lasting relationships with other members of our community to ensure Longmont continues to grow and thrive.
Jake holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. In addition to focusing on accounting and finance, Jake also obtained a Certificate of Entrepreneurial Studies from CU. Jake holds the CPFA, CRPC and the CFP professional designations.
