John Caldwell

John Caldwell manages a family office in Longmont, Colorado. The company is invested in several agricultural operations, commercial and residential real estate in several states, and publicly traded and private equities. John has lived in Longmont for 65 years and been actively involved in the community.
John has been involved in governance since grade school including elected and appointed boards. John has served on the Longmont City Council, the St. Vrain Valley School Board, American AgCredit board and various civic organizations.
The Caldwell family has been involved with the Longmont Community Foundation since shortly after it began. The Avery and Mildred Caldwell Family Fund and the N. Claire Caldwell Fund have existed at the Longmont Community Foundation for approximately 20 years. John’s current active participation on the board, governance committee and the Live and Give committee not only benefits LCF but his participation “gives our family greater insight into the current needs of the St Vrain Valley in determining the gifting Investments from our funds”.

John graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in agricultural engineering and is a member of Farmhouse Fraternity. John was a recipient of a Boettcher scholarship, whose purpose it is to keep students at Colorado schools and for the student recipients to eventually give back to their state and communities, which John has attempted to live up to.
