Kelsie Betsch

Dr. Kelsie Betsch was born in Minnesota and holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Virginia. She and her husband lived all around the United States and Europe before settling in Longmont in 2013.

Currently, Kelsie is the Chief Science Officer at KaiVitae Health, where she focuses on distilling the science and mathematics behind nutrition and exercise into clear messages and actionable insights that drive business and enable software applications. Prior to working for KaiVitae Health, Kelsie worked in various leadership and technology roles at Opsis Health, PenLink, and Seagate Technology.

Kelsie has been involved with Longmont Community Foundation since 2017, serving on the Live and Give Grants Committee from 2017-2022 and joining the Board of Trustees in 2021. She also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Vela, an emerging non-profit providing data consultative services to restorative justice programs.
In her free time, Kelsie can be found long distance running, cycling, gardening, and doing home improvement projects.
