Mission
A Precious Child provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. Founded in 2008 and serving just over 41 children out of a garage that year, A Precious Child now has a 26,000-sq. ft. facility in Broomfield and a network of Satellite Resource Centers and community distributions spread throughout eight-Denver Metro counties. Our cradle to career support alleviates stress in families’ lives. When a family doesn’t have to worry about the basics, they are able to put their income toward other critical expenses such as housing, transportation, and health – moving them forward on a path of self-sufficiency.

We serve Longmont directly through community distributions and at our main site, reaching an average of over 550 Longmont residents with 7,500+ lbs of goods, 1,000+ lbs of food and 20,000+ diapers.
