Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP)

The funds will be used to provide emergency financial assistance for housing, utilities, and other basic needs for low-income people living with HIV who reside in the St. Vrain Valley.

Mission

The mission of the Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) is to provide support, advocacy, and education to those in our community who are living with or affected by HIV, and to serve as an outreach and information center to prevent the further transmission of HIV. BCAP’s mission-driven goals are to increase access to and engagement in medical care/treatment to improve health outcomes for people living with HIV; reduce HIV transmission; increase community HIV-related awareness, education, and advocacy; and achieve a more coordinated regional response to the HIV epidemic.

With offices in Boulder since 1985 and Longmont since 2006, BCAP is the only HIV Service Organization serving Boulder, Broomfield, Gilpin, and Clear Creek counties in Colorado.
