Cellists for Change empowers youth through music by nurturing self-expression, cultivating belonging, and developing individual and collective agency. We aspire to build a more equitable, inclusive, and connected world by investing in young people while making diversity-centered paradigm shifts within the classical music sphere. We are committed to actualizing the fundamental truths that equity in access is transformational and representation matters. Cellists for Change works to achieve our mission and purpose through through programs: Local Youth Scholarships, Growing Cello Repertoire, and Music Transcends Borders.
Currently, 33% of our Local Youth Scholarship participants reside in Longmont. We are enthusiastically committed to serving and supporting St. Vrain Valley community Latinx youth!
