Needs: $5,000
Funds will be used to provide nutritious meals to neighbors in Erie impacted by food insecurity. We provide meals through Home Delivered Meals and a Grab 'n Go Meals site at the Erie Food Bank.

Mission

The mission of Coal Creek Meals on Wheels is to support independence and quality of life for Lafayette, Louisville, Erie & Superior residents by providing nutritious meals and social contact.

More about this organization

In 2024, Coal Creek Meals on Wheels provided over 70,000 meals to our neighbors in Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, and Superior through the following programs: Home Delivered Meals, Coal Creek Cafe, Project Homecoming, Plates for Pets, and Grab ‘n Go Meals. We have no requirements/restrictions for services – anyone is eligible to receive meals regardless of age, income, or other factors. More information can be found at www.coalcreekmow.org.

Other ways to help

Coal Creek Meals on Wheels relies on over 300 volunteers each year to move our mission forward. Volunteers support in the kitchen, with meal preparation, meal delivery, cafe service, administrative projects, and more.
