Mission

Our mission is to provide more affordable legal aid to resident of Colorado who gave had their insurance claims denied or insurance withdrawn in bad faith. We connect clients with local law firms and help cover costs or acquire pro bono work. In recent years, nearly 1 in 5 claims are being denied every single day, and here in the foothills of the Rockies, insurance is oftentimes being unfairly withdrawn.

We spend countless hours attending fundraising events, talking with attorneys, all to find our clients the best possible support. With your help, we would be not only able to connect the clients and attorneys but help finance the cases as well.

More about this organization

Our specific project at the moment is covering the legal costs for our clients. Even if the work offered by attorneys is pro bono, there are still several court fees that need to be covered. Given that the work is not pro bono, hourly wages can range anywhere from $250-$600, and thus we need all the help we can get.

The Colorado Legal Insurance Help Fund is a non-profit created in the small town of Lyons CO, nestled in the foothills of the Rockies. This organization was founded by two High School students, Niko Sparks and Wilma Spencer, with one goal in mind: restoring justice to the insurance system.
