The League of Women Voters of Boulder County works to empower voters and defend democracy. We envision a democracy in which every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge and the confidence to participate. We present unbiased nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process, and issues.
LWVBC provides both English and Spanish ballot issue pamphlets to multiple community organizations to disseminate to voters (Longmont Library & Senior Center, OUR Center, El Comite, Recovery Initaitve, Veterans Community Project, etc.). We also provide Spanish interpretation & translation at many of our candidate forums and other voter education events throughout the year including Cinco de Mayo and Dia de Muertos in Longmont.
LWVBC also shares nonpartisan election information in VOTE411.org and just this past election we participated in a “get out the vote” effort focused on young voters living in areas of low voter turnout.
We welcome anyone interested in the LWVBC to visit our website at lwvbc.org and we thank you for your consideration!
