Mission

LFFAC’s programs each play a role in its mission. TNR reduces cat overpopulation and disease through reduced reproduction. Cat Socialization prepares cats for human homes by developing their trust in humans. Colony Management allows community cats to live in established colonies with support of shelter, food, water, and veterinary care. Foster provides a supportive environment for growing and taming kittens, short periods for medical recovery of adult cats, and for other needs as individually determined. Adoption places cats in loving human homes after careful evaluation to ensure a good match for the cat and humans. Education seeks to educate members of the community on feral cat issues.
