Mission

Longmont Meals on Wheels (LMOW) promotes client health and independence through good nutrition and social interaction. The agency helps older people and people with disabilities in Longmont, Niwot, Hygiene and Lyons with proper, affordable nutrition so that they can stay self-sufficient in their own homes for as long as possible.

More about this organization

Longmont Meals on Wheels serves 60-80 meals per day in its Community Lunch program. Meals are served hot and ready to eat Monday-Friday, with a soup and salad bar option Wednesday-Friday.  This is when LMOW offers a salad bar that is free or $2. $2,440 is a month of the agency’s expense.
