Qualified Listeners’ mission is to meet the needs of the veteran community through outreach, listening, resource vetting and referrals, and advocacy. QL is a resource hub, providing a variety of services and connections to veterans and their families throughout Northern Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico.
Our services include informed listening; transportation for medical appointments, running errands, vehicle repair, and towing; remodeling homes to make them safe; and a benevolence fund for emergencies. We do not charge for any of our services.
We’ve been told by veterans and families that our programs have saved lives. Through this endeavor some veterans we’ve helped have offered to become volunteers for our organization.
Being heard is critical and getting transportation to medical appointments can be life-saving.
