Mission

The St. Vrain Historical Society (SVHS) is dedicated to preserving and promoting the local heritage of Longmont and the St. Vrain Valley. We steward four historic sites, including fifteen structures: Old Mill Park, Old St. Stephen’s Church, Historic Hoverhome, and Hover Farmstead. SVHS focuses on preserving these landmarks, ensuring they remain accessible for educational and community enjoyment. We engage in historical education, local research, tours, and events like Pumpkin Pie Days and the Strawberry Festival, fostering a deeper appreciation for our community’s history.
