Drylands Agroecology Research (DAR) is a team of farmers, scientists, educators, and designers working to regenerate our land and the life that it nurtures. DAR uses regenerative design to transform degraded landscapes into thriving, relationship-dense ecosystems that revitalize soil, restore hydrological cycles, sequester carbon, support biodiversity, and provide abundant food and resources.

Growing Gardens of Boulder County

Growing Gardens increases access to locally-grown produce, supporting Longmont families to find affordable ways to eat healthy foods. We are seeking support for our second Longmont farm (on 15th and Pratt) that produces 8,000 pounds of produce for donation annually as well as education and community building around growing and eating fresh, locally-grown produce.

Thorne Nature Experience works to build Earth stewardship by providing youth with joyful, hands-on, place-based environmental education experiences that foster an emotional connection to nature. Thorne’s Nature Immersion Program seamlessly delivers in-school, after school, field trip, and summer camp programs to youth at low income and culturally diverse schools throughout BVSD and St. Vrain.

Wildlands Restoration Volunteers

WRV is dedicated to building diverse communities that care for the land. With your help, WRV can partner with Indigenous groups to support the sustainable use of native species in Indigenous foodways here in Longmont and our Sister City, the Northern Arapaho at the Wind River Reservation, and to educate the wider community about those uses.
