Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC)

Each and every day our riders face a multitude of challenges in their lives, but when they arrive at CRTC, the focus suddenly shifts to what they CAN do and not what they CAN'T do. Whether in physical/occupational therapy or therapeutic riding, as our riders work with their trusted, four-legged partner, surrounded by staff and volunteers, they suddenly begin to feel as if anything is possible.

Community Cycles

We promote, educate, and advocate for the inclusive and safe use of bicycles as daily, sustainable, healthy transportation in Boulder County. Our purpose is to promote healthful, safe transportation while facilitating essential bicycle infrastructure and safety awareness.

Community Fruit Rescue

From tree care to fruit share, we empower communities to reduce food waste, increase equitable access to locally grown fruit, minimize wildlife conflicts, and foster healthy and productive fruit trees.

Community Roots Midwife Collective

Funds will go directly towards caring for families by midwives in the out-of-hospital setting during the prenatal, birth, postpartum and newborn periods alongside well-person care. CRMC also offers lactation support circles such as CRMC’s weekly Milk Circle and Cículo de Vida, a bilingual infant feeding grupo, parenting classes, low intervention fertility care services, and more.

Environment

Drylands Agroecology Research

Drylands Agroecology Research (DAR) is a team of farmers, scientists, educators, and designers working to regenerate our land and the life that it nurtures. DAR uses regenerative design to transform degraded landscapes into thriving, relationship-dense ecosystems that revitalize soil, restore hydrological cycles, sequester carbon, support biodiversity, and provide abundant food and resources.

Education

Early Childhood Council of Boulder County

The Early Childhood Council has established an Access to Opportunity Fund in memory of community champion, Bob Palaich. This fund will provide scholarships to families who are having a difficult time affording child care costs, especially in light of the freeze on the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP). This fund will give our youngest children access to high quality child care.
