Eligibility

Open to all fields of study, but at least one scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a trade.

High School Students: Must be currently attending a high school within the St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD) or a BOCES program.
Current College/Trade School Students: Must have graduated from a high school in the St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD) or a BOCES program.
Financial Need: Must show unmet financial need, as determined by the financial aid office at the college or trade school they plan to attend or are currently attending.

Must be planning to attend, or already attending, a college or trade school in Colorado. Ascend St. Vrain helps alleviate the debt that many students incur to attend post-secondary schools.

Multiple Renewable Scholarships: The scholarship offers multiple awards that are renewable. Past ranges are between $1,000-$2,500 per eligible year.
Braly Family Foundation Scholarship: The Braly Family Foundation will fund one, $2500 renewable scholarship with a preference to trade applicants.

Ascend St. Vrain helps alleviate the debt that many students incur to attend post-secondary schools.

Scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room & board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at an accredited trade school, two-year or four-year college or university in Colorado for the upcoming fall semester.
Award amounts will be split between semesters.

High school or college transcript with fall grades, resume and financial information.
Short answer questions, recommendation letters and short 2-3 video submission.
