Eligibility

Focus Area

Must be majoring in one of three departments. College of Agriculture Sciences: Soil and Crop Science OR Animal Science OR Agricultural and Resource Economics.

Specific Eligibility :

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Undergraduate: Must be residents of Colorado or Wyoming.
Post Secondary: Do not need to be residents of Colorado or Wyoming.
Financial Need: Must file a FAFSA and provide the Student Aid Index (SAI).
Financial Need:Students who are Pell Grant eligible are not eligible to apply.

Amounts Awarded

Renewable Scholarship: $5,000, renewable for up to two additional years if the applicant meets the renewal criteria.
Recipients will range from 1-2 winners each year.

Purpose

Established by David and Rose Macy: The David and Rose Macy Scholarship Fund was established to support students in the College of Agriculture Sciences.

Use of Funds

Scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room & board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at Colorado State University for the upcoming fall semester.
Award amounts will be split between semesters.

Application Details

College transcript including fall grades, resume, short answer questions,essay, financial statement and disclose other scholarships received.
Renewal Criteria: The scholarship may be renewed for up to two additional years if the applicant meets the renewal criteria.
