St.Vrain Habitat for Humanity Scholarship

Eligibility

Specific Eligibility

  • Applicants must have been or currently be a Habitat for Humanity St. Vrain Valley homeowner, OR
  • Must be an immediate family member (i.e., spouse or child) of a Habitat for Humanity St. Vrain Valley homeowner.

Amounts Awarded

  • Renewable Scholarship: $5,000 for up to 3 additional years.

Purpose

This scholarship is for someone seeking higher education with the purpose of improving employment opportunities. This renewable scholarship will provide $5,000 to one recipient for academic purposes. The scholarship may be renewed for up to three years if the renewal criteria are met.

Use of Funds

  • Educational Institution: It must be used at any accredited junior college, college, or university.
  • Educational Expenses: Scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses related to the student’s study at an accredited institution. Funds will be split between semesters/terms.

Application Details

  • You will need a high school OR college transcript with fall grades, a resume, an essay, and recommendation letters.
