Eligibility
Focus Area
- STEM (a degree in science, engineering, or education)
Specific Eligibility
- Must be a graduate of St. Vrain Valley High School District.
- Financial Need: Must demonstrate unmet financial need.
Academic Requirement
- Must be currently attending an accredited university or college in Colorado as a full-time student (no concurrent enrollment applicants).
- Must have completed at least 15 credit hours.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Amounts Awarded
- Renewable Scholarship: $1,000, renewable.
Purpose
Encouraging STEM and Education Careers: Provide a multi-year (renewable) scholarship to St.Vrain Valley High School graduates who are currently attending an accredited Colorado University who wish to pursue careers in science, engineering or education to increase their ability to have a positive impact in their field and community.
Use of Funds
- Scholarship award is restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room & board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at University of Northern Colorado pursuing a teaching degree for the upcoming fall semester.
- Award amounts will be split between semesters.
